I can't stress enough how important Time is.
It gives meaning to everything.
The only thing we can't control, stop, accelerate, or slow down. Can't turn back.
The only thing left for us is to accept it, live it, and respect it.
What Time Does
Time:
- Wrinkles
- Ages
- Ages people
- Ages memories
- Heals
- Burns
- Kills
- Increases capabilities—or reduces them
It takes humans on a journey to show them the world—a long journey for humans, short for the universe. It's decisive but interpretable, and sometimes misinterpreted. It's greater than us, and more than we can understand.
That's why it's beautiful.
The Value Time Creates
On Earth, things acquire a certain value by being placed in Time.
It reveals the good and the bad—what works and what doesn't.
Increasing human activities during a certain period gives more importance to it, and we come out with deep and clear results.
Some call it maximizing the use of Time. I would simply call it maximizing the respect for Time.
Inspiration from Movies
There are only a few movies I've seen in my life that I still keep in my memory. This is for one reason only—the main reason for rooting those memories deep in my mind:
It is Time.
Not because of the movie's duration, but because of the perfectly timed acts.
It is the ability to go deep down to the core and uncover the human reactions that occur at that moment—and find the right Time for the emotions to diffuse from the movie to you.
At this moment, you are fully engaged in the act as a participant having a one-of-a-kind experience.
The clock must keep ticking—otherwise, it would be an unnatural act. The right scaling creates the perfect miniature that aligns with human frequencies of Time perception.

Why I'm Talking About This
I am just an amateur interpreter of Time but a devoted traveler in this world who tries his best to respect it.
Just like in movies, it is important in design as well.
I consider design as a creative process, where you think and act to give life and form to something. As such, I believe it has a place in every aspect of life.
And Time gives meaning to this process.
Creation timing can determine its fate, value, and price—some of the human evaluation criteria.

Time Is Decisive and Interpretable
I mean it.
- Quick-time creations may be judged as genius or stupidity
- Normal-time creations may be judged okay, not so good, or mediocre
- Long-time creations can be judged as incompetence, negligence, or genius
Everyone interprets it, but Time decides.

Time in Design
The Time people spend—and where, how, and why they spend it—defines the trajectory of any product and its characteristics. It consequently determines the Time they will spend on its features.
Our role as designers is to time each process perfectly in every interaction to make it meaningful.
The product makes sense if it makes sense for the user, who can turn it into a temporary or "timeless movie."
